Mentoring Bussiness Students at Ferny Grove State High School

Eva who is the Chair of the Commerce in Schools Initiative has been busy organising guest from the Hills & District Chamber of Commerce to mentor students. The chambers guests mentored year 10 business at Ferny Grove State High School The students project was to develop a business idea and then pitch it to a panel later this month. The guests and Eva were all amazed and excited for many of the business ideas the students had. One chamber member said “If you ever need inspiration for a business, come to one of these mentor sessions!”. What’s next?
What’s happening next is that the students will be pitching their business idea. The pitch night will be held at Ferny Grove State High school and it will also be a celebration of the students work. If you would like to see and hear the students pitch their ideas you are welcome to attend the Ferny Grove State High School Business Innovation Showcase Evening. It is a free event and will be held on the 18th of September at 6pm – 8:30pm. Eva will be on the judging panel.
